All Faiths Chapel is the center of on-campus religious activities and is available to Texas A&M University students, former students, and employees of all denominations and creeds. The purpose of the Chapel program is to encourage the spiritual expression and development of the Texas A&M University community. The Chapel is open at all times, with the exception of the break between the fall and spring semesters, to the campus community for individual meditation.
Recognized
student organizations desiring to use the Chapel
for appropriate meetings during a semester will
need to come by the
Scheduling
and Services Office on the second floor of
Rudder Tower to obtain a semester form. The
completed form will be returned to the
Scheduling Office. Reservations for semester
meetings will be taken beginning April 15 for
the fall semester and November 15 for the spring
semester.
During the year, priorities will be given for use of the chapel for funerals, memorial services, special non-sectarian religious services, weddings and other special occasions as they arise. Available dates for these occasions may be requested at any time during the year.
The Chapel may be used for religious services on a regular basis by any recognized student organization. Reservations must be relinquished, however, should a funeral, memorial service, or special non-sectarian religious holiday program be scheduled. The Chapel program will try to avoid competing with off- campus religious organizations and will instead supplement their activities.
Photographs of the Chapel grounds and interior may be viewed on our photo page.
On campus maps, All Faiths Chapel is denoted as building number 512.
